Day 9 – Sun – Full day – La Digue

After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer from the hotel to the Praslin jetty for the boat that will take us from Praslin to La Digue.
La Digue is a timeless oasis, hidden away in the vast expanse of the Indian Ocean, guarded by warm azure waters and fringed by teeming reefs. In many ways, La Digue is the Seychelles of yesterday, which welcomes visitors with smiles, with warmth and with colour. Home to the country's most beautiful beaches, La Digue also boasts friendly people and the most tranquil, serene and relaxing atmosphere in Seychelles. Cars are shunned in favour of bicycles and ox-carts and the pace of life is necessarily slower, whether it's relaxing on the beach, pedalling to a restaurant for a light tropical lunch or donning your Sunday best to join in a traditional Church service.
You can rent a bike and discover the island on your own and lunch at any restaurant at your own convenience. This is a day to just discover La Digue in your own way.
Later that evening we catch the last ferry back to Praslin.
Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 10 – Mon – Experience a day at sea with local Fishermen (for groups only)

An early wake-up call at around 5am - but you will not regret it! The Hotel will prepare your breakfast for you to take away on your special and traditional fishing day with the local fisherman.
At 6am you are welcomed by the local fisherman, with whom you prepare the bait, the nets and the fishing equipment and get ready for departure.
At around midday you return back, help sell some of the catch to the inhabitants, clean the boat and pull it to shore. You will help gut the fish and prepare your own catch for dinner.
This evening you join with local families in a traditional home for a typical Creole dinner and enjoy the true ambiance of traditional Creole music and dance.

This is only available on request and if you book as a group of 4 or more.

Day 11 – Tue – Return to Mahι and meet a local family (for groups only)

Today you transfer from your Hotel to the jetty for your boat transfer to Mahé. At 9am the Cat Cocos departs from Praslin to Mahé, arriving on Mahé an hour later.
This morning, we transfer to Val d'En d'Or to visit the farming families and spend half a day in the fields with a local farming family to experience their way of life.

- What type of plants to grow around your home.
We then visit the home of a Seychellois and learn how to bake "Galette"(Galette is a local biscuit made of cassava) and later in the afternoon, drive back to the hotel.

The tour continues with a cruise around the sprinkle of islands that encircle the Marine Park with a swimming and snorkeling stop over the edge of the reef. A delicious and exotic Creole lunch awaits you on board the catamaran.

Again, this is an optional day's activity at an additional cost of 75 Euros per person. Alternatively you may wish to relax at your Hotel.

After Breakfast, join us for a thrilling day of adventure and experience the Seychelles from its most enchanting perspectives.
Today, it will be a mixture of nature and the Ocean. Starting the day with a 1.5 hour hike and through cool, enclosed palm fringed walkways, our trained guide will present the flora and fauna along the pathways, many species being endemic to these islands. Witness the breathtaking ocean views as you cross the numerous fresh mountain springs that flow across the granite formations to the crystal blue waters below. The trail has only short ascents and descents and follows the contours of the coastline. At the end of the trail awaits the superb, secluded, sandy white beach of Anse Major. Whilst spending some time swimming and enjoying a refreshing drink, your comfortable private catamaran 'Catalina' awaits in the turquoise bay. Once on-board, 'Catalina' will cruise around the untouched coastline of North West Mahι, stopping at some amazing snorkelling bays, where you can feed the fish or snorkel with the bountiful marine life. Drinks are available for purchase whilst a delicious Creole barbeque buffet spread whets the appetite.

The afternoon is devoted to relaxation in the calm, clear bays of this untouched part of Mahι. Sing along to the tunes of our local guitarist who will enhance the ambiance of this enthralling cruising experience. As the sun sets the 'Catalina' leisurely winds its way back towards Victoria. Upon your arrival at the port, transfer back to your Hotel.

Day 14 – Fri – Eco trail Jardin du Roi – Gratte Fesse

This is another option day at an additional cost of 40 Euros per person.

As you go higher you will discover the most spectacular views. The most interesting part is that you can view both sides of Mahι, the East and West Coast.
A home made fruit juice from the garden will be offered to every participant.

Day 15 – Sat – Relax at leisure

Breakfast at the hotel and a last day relaxing at the Hotel.
