The eighth edition of the award winning festival will take place at Sunbird Nkopola Lodge, Mangochi, September 30th to October 2nd on the palm-fringed shores of Lake Malawi.The Lake of Stars is an internationally renowned music festival that takes place on the shores of Lake Malawi each year. The name, Lake of Stars, comes from the nickname given to Lake Malawi by David Livingstone. The festival borrows this name and when you're camped by the shore it's easy to see why. Malawi is Africa's most mellow destination and the lake-side is the most peaceful, sun-splattered spot you could wish for.
