Overnight Sleeper Train
The deluxe overnight sleeper train is now run by a private company called 'El Watania', who took over from previous operator Abela Egypt in January 2010. The full capacity of the train is 13 sleeping cars each, which contains 10 double cabins (Spanish trains) or 12 double cabins (M.B.B. German trains), in addition to an exclusive Club Car.
Cabin Equipment:
- Some Cabins are provided with a connecting door with the next cabin, to be used when needed.
- At night, your attendant converts your seats into a bed and a second bed folds down from the wall.
Club Car:
The Club car is equipped to offer you a choice of drinks, served either at the bar, or in the comfort of your private cabin.

At Ana Kato three Nubian houses (Wer, Owy & Toski) are your gateway into Gharb Soheil - the land of the Nubians. Dahabiyas
Dahabiya's are beautiful open, luxurious sailing boats where you enjoy a unique and stylish sailing experience up and down the great spectacular Nile River between Luxor and Aswan. This style river boat was common in Egypt during the days of the monarchy (1920's-40's) when aristocrats and sophisticated travelers loved to cruise the Nile in style. Each of the Dahabiyas offer 8 spacious cabins and hold a maximum 16 people making them a cozy, exclusive experience.
Nile Cruise Boat
A typical Luxury Nile Cruise boat is a floating, 5-star hotel, providing most of the amenities of a normal 5-star hotel, including a relaxing sun deck and swimming pool. All your meals are included, though beverages and bottled water are extra. There is a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available at the bar. You will have your own en-suite, air-conditioned cabin, and full use of all the boats facilities (restaurants, ships, sun deck, swimming pool, etc).
We use several different 5 star cruise boats on the Nile, as the boats shuttle back and forth on the Nile between Aswan and Luxor, with regular breaks for cleaning and maintenance. However, the boats are regularly inspected to ensure they are of the same 5-star standard.
